2017 CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All Carlton Football Club Memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. PURCHASE OF MEMBERSHIP
> If you are successful in your Membership application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation electronically within 2 business days (from 17th October, 2016). Your membership card and fulfilment package will be issued separately between 10-14 business days from the date of purchase * (from 17th October, 2016). Please Note: P.O Boxes can add an additional 4 business days to delivery time.
> Due to our overseas mail house closure, memberships purchased between Tuesday 10 January, 2017 and Monday 13 February, 2017 will experience delays in receiving their membership pack. Memberships purchased during this period will take approximately six (6) weeks to arrive. We apologise for any inconvenience caused in result of this delay.
> Members who join during the season will receive an e-card prior to the next game. The Club reserves its right not to accept any Membership application form in its absolute discretion.
*Baby Blue and Little Tacker members will receive their membership card with their 2017 membership package.
2. TERM OF MEMBERSHIP
> Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Club Membership will entitle you to the benefits of Club Membership from receipt of your Membership payment to the conclusion of the 2017 Toyota AFL Finals Series.
3. NO ONSELLING
> Club Membership cards/e-cards and Club tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Club, be on sold (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is on sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member's Club Membership without a refund).
4. MCG AND AFL MEMBER UPGRADES
> AFL Members may nominate a club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfilment and finals access. AFL Members who have nominated a club of support may purchase a Club reserved seat membership upgrade.
> MCC members may purchase a Club upgrade via the Club.
5. GST AND LEVIES
> Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable vanue levy.
6. REFUND POLICY
> As a general policy, Club Memberships are non-refundable. Requests for refunds may be made in writing and are at the discretion of the Club's Membership Sales Manager.
7. CANCELLATION POLICY
> The Club reserves its right to cancel a member's Club Membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club Membership and/or associated benefits).
8. CLUB MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
> While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including yelling and swearing when dealing with Club staff, agents or AFL or other event staff) will not be tolerated. Club Members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated. Club Members who breach the behaviour code of conduct may face penalties including cancellation of Membership without refund. The Club endorses the AFL's stance on vilification and has a zero-tolerance for members or supporters that abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality.
9. VARIATION TO CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
> The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club website or email. Members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club Membership.
10. GENERAL STADIUM RULES
> Club Members must adhere to all rules and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club Member. All venues are smoke-free. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on match day.
11. LOST OR STOLEN MEMBERSHIP CARDS
> Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club Membership card is lost or stolen, please contact the Club's Membership Services Team on 1300 CARLTON (1300 227 586) and the Club may then issue a replacement Membership card subject to receipt of the replacement card fee (as advised by the Club). The card will be replaced at no cost upon provision if a police report or statutory declaration detailing the theft.
12. VOTING RIGHTS
> An applicant for Ordinary Membership, 18 years or above, who pays, or enters into an agreement to pay by instalments, the annual subscription fee which entitles him or her to attend, at a minimum, all home games of the Club or Country and Interstate membership, is automatically eligible to be registered as an Ordinary Member of the Club subject to Board approval. All Members of the Club are bound by the Constitution. Applicants cannot be a nominee or trustee of another person nor hold or be entitled to hold any other membership of the Club. If the Club is wound up, Members and those who ceased to be Members within a year of the winding up are required to contribute up to $50 to the assets of the Club.

14. TELEPHONE AND INTERNET RENEWALS
> Members may renew their Club Membership over the telephone or online. By renewing over the telephone or online, you accept these terms and conditions of Club Membership (as amended by from time to time by the Club).
15. MEMBER TICKETING OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS
> All ticketing offers have a limited capacity. Availability is based on a first come, first serve basis. Once this capacity is reached the Club has the right to terminate the offer at any point. All ticketing offers are subject to capacity and are not guaranteed.
> Carlton FC reserves the right to offer promotions to select members and categories at any time throughout the 2017 season. Any offers are not eligible to be back dated, and are only valid for the promotional period or until Carlton FC states the offer has ended or a capacity has been reached.

> The Carlton Football Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary vary the terms and conditions of Carlton Football Club Membership. The Carlton Football Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Carlton Football Club website. Members will have no claim against Carlton Football Club by reason of any change made to its membership terms and conditions.
